Full Time Researcher
### About the Role KhojByte Research Lab is looking for a motivated **Researcher** to contribute to academic and applied research projects, primarily in **Computer Science and Information Technology**. The role involves supporting the research lifecycle from problem identification and literature review to methodology development, experimentation, data analysis, scientific writing, and publication. Candidates with an interest in applying research methods to other fields such as **Engineering, Management, Economics, Social Sciences, Education, Public Health, Agriculture, Environmental Science, and related disciplines** are also welcome. ### Key Responsibilities - Identify research problems, topics, research gaps, and research questions - Develop research objectives, hypotheses, and conceptual frameworks - Conduct literature reviews and evidence synthesis - Design qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-method research - Develop research methodologies and study protocols - Design questionnaires, interview guides, experiments, and other research instruments - Conduct and support data collection - Clean, organize, and prepare research data - Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis - Develop computational models, experiments, simulations, or machine learning models where applicable - Interpret research findings and relate them to existing literature - Prepare research reports, technical documents, theses, and academic manuscripts - Develop tables, graphs, figures, and research visualizations - Assist with manuscript refinement, referencing, formatting, and publication submission - Collaborate with researchers, interns, subject-matter experts, and project teams - Contribute to research proposals, publications, presentations, and other research activities ### Primary Research Areas The position is primarily focused on **Computer Science and IT**, including areas such as: - Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning - Data Science & Analytics - Natural Language Processing - Computer Vision - Software Engineering - Cybersecurity - Internet of Things (IoT) - Human-Computer Interaction - Cloud & Distributed Computing - Information Systems - Emerging Computing Technologies Interest or experience in research across **Engineering, Management, Economics, Social Sciences, Education, Public Health, Agriculture, Environmental Science, and other disciplines** is also welcome. ### Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree completed, preferably in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field - Strong interest in academic and applied research - Basic understanding of research methodology and academic writing - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Willingness to learn new research methods, tools, and technologies - Prior research, thesis, project, or publication experience is an advantage ### Position Details - **Position:** Researcher - **No. of Positions:** 1 - **Employment Type:** Full-Time - **Work Mode:** On-Site - **Location:** Kathmandu, Nepal - **Salary:** Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
